Global Warming Center

A study completed in summer 2008 to examine potential site locations and programming opportunities for a multi-venue Global Warming , Astronomy and Planetarium along Buffalo’s Outer Harbor. Each option adheres to the principal of concentrated development to ensure that the majority of the Outer Harbor is maintained in its natural state. Furthermore, the design of each scheme touches the earth lightly to further emphasize the commitment to environmental conservation.

 

Canal Side

Canal Side is a Master plan for Downtown Buffalo’s Inner Harbor. The plan focuses on re-connecting Downtown to its historic Waterfront and celebrating Buffalo’s history. Mr. Gordon is core member of the multi-disciplinary team led by Stan Eckstut of EEK Architects for this ongoing development. The initial phase envisions a mixed use development on 20 acres; construction on the initial phase of nearly 600,000 square feet will commence in the Summer of 2010.
