What We're Doing Right Now

  • A Long Term Parking Vision for Elmwood Village

Ongoing Preliminary Study to create opportunities for added parking to remedy well documented parking shortage of 500-600- spaces in Elmwood Village. One favored strategy is to establish a few strategically placed inconspicuous high-density parking facilities—likely combined with mixed-use. Major Goal is to significantly improve the pedestrian environment –in terms of Connectivity, Retail continuity and Safety. We see doing this by trying to reduce the current condition of almost 50% (corner parking lots of various small to medium-small size) along the 21 intersections occurring in slightly less than 2 mile extent--Allen Street to Forest Avenue.
  • Future of Albright Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo

Albright Knox leadership is continuing to gather public input as they contemplate a momentous opportunity for the Gallery—its first significant expansion initiative in more than 50 years. This public outreach will help inform a Future Vision, a vision A-K leaders can use to define the challenges for whomever Architect –led team is ultimately selected to lead the design of a world class expansion to an already world class Art Gallery. • Shape public policy re Downtown Buffalo Waterfront
